Once he made an illustrated card for me (I believe it was the year I was pregnant). I cried. I was super hormonal. lol It was so awesome because it was a slide show too. It was the best card I had ever received.
Since then I've made homemade Valentine cards for him. He is very thoughtful and ALWAYS seems genuinely surprised and thankful for my creations. ha!
This year, I decided to start early. I'm going to "practice" making his card. *wink* Okay, if things get busy, one of these might be his.
Here are 3 quick and easy cards.
Make sure you gather your supplies:
Valentine card #1:
The second card was also very simple. I used a velum envelope that I created. I used a simple template from online. Simple is the key.
You can then add an embellishment to the envelope such as a heart. :D Add a quick note or tag inside! (I love this idea because you can add a VERY personal or naughty message inside). ha!!Ink the edges of the card and viola! Give it to your love bug! lol
Valentine Card #2:
The next card was a tiny bit more work. I used my FAVORITE Martha Stewart punch. I carry this punch with me to every crop., that's how much I love it! Just look at it. I found it on sale to boot! $7 later, and it became my baby...okay, where was I?
Ah, yes! With this card I cut a border at the bottom of the card and added a strip of white card stock inside to make the border pop out a bit more. Ink the edges of a white square, and add some more Vintage Valentine Tags. I used some pop-up dots for the ticket & Ta-da!!
Valentine Card #3:
All three cards in less than 30 minutes. That's how I like it. QUICK & SIMPLE Valentine's Day cards!
For fun, lets continue our giveaways. This giveaway is for a set of our Vintage Valentine Tags!! *Leave a comment and I will draw a name on the 24th!
~Come back tomorrow for a gorgeous Valentine banner! Very similar to this ONE. ;)
