Valentine Cupcakes & A Giveaway!

Today we were at Vons buying some groceries and I could not resist buying Valentine cupcakes!
Can you believe they have them already? Crazy huh? So, I came home and took some quick pictures because they were so festive and bright.

Then my brilliant idea...haha actually it came from Mara-May. Last week, she text messaged me her homemade cupcake with our love bird tags. Unfortunately, I'm too busy for homemade. lol I thought it was a great idea though. So, I thought I would use our new Valentine Icon Tags. So super easy and cute. Just glue 2 icons together over a toothpick. Viola!! I'm all about fast craft projects.

I am making Valentine cards as I type. It's got some sewing action in them. Can't wait to share with you!A quick and easy giveaway! Just leave a comment and tell me how you spend Valentine's with your loved one. I'll draw a name and the winner will get a free download for Valentine cards or LOVE mini album.

xoxo,
Veronica

How CUTE!! And those cupcakes are a GENIUS idea!!

On the rare occasion hubby and I get to go out for Valentine's, we love a good sushi dinner. Otherwise we just exchange gifts at home and cook a good meal together.

Thanks for the chance!!

Cute cupcake! We're not exactly romantic Valentine's people. But we usually cook a nice meal together -- hubs is an awesome cook! :)

Mara-May,

haha I knew you would get crazy on me if I didn't give you credit. You might want to sick a lawyer on me, or better yet claim that lovebirds were your creation. lol

LOVE ya!!!

Those are so cute!! I would love to win these too! Well, I always do something special for the girls. Usually a cute little treat bag. This year I'm decorating, which of course Maddie loves b/c it's all pink & red & cute.

As for Tahner.......well, ya know. :) Actually, it's usually on a weeknight, so we just do the kid thing. We try to make it out for a date, but never ON Valentine's day.

Sweeeet!! :D

My valentine with DH usually consists of candlelit dinner, a glass of wine, some dessert (we don't do desserts very often - only on special occasions), and then gifts. He's such a sweet man - I mostly get both traditional stuff (like chocolate and flowers) and something fun and corny - and he gets something fun & cute back. Like chocolate and socks with the text "I love you" on them. Stuff like that.

If we don't have to get up super early we usually turn celebration nights into movie nights. Popcorn and tea and cuddles. Love it! :D

I love the cupcakes. I have made similar picks with my Cricut expression.

My husband and I usually go out for a nice dinner, share a bottle of wine and relax.

If we both happen to be home (which we try to do). We just have dinner together and spend the evening with each other. We do give each other Valentines all month long.

Such a cute idea.

I'd love to win!

Sadly, I don't have anything very romantic to share for our Valentines day activities. We usually avoid doing anything knowing all the date night venues are super crowded...

We mostly celebrate 4 days earlier for my birthday.

Nothing much here.. DH usually gets me a card or some little something... This year with him being out of work, we probably will just be home...

We're usually smack-dab in the middle of celebrating Valentine's with our little kids. I'm not sure if we've EVER been out on Valentine's, because it's almost impossible to get in and out anywhere because of the crowds. But we will fix a special dinner at home.

Dh and I don't get much alone time but when we do we like to just chill and hang out nothin fancy maybe a trip to Buffalo Wild Wings for fome grub but that's about it.

We're going to see a concert and to dinner. The concert was his choice, so dinner gets to be mine.

Really adorable cupcakes.

It's just me and my 2 teen boys, so I usually make them their favorite dinner (chicken marsala) followed by some kind of flaming dessert. Teen boys, remember?! LOL...

Unfortunately hubby doesn't celebrate Vday with me, he just refuses to give into the showing love on this day because the stores want you to. Of course, now that I have kids I have passed on the tradition my inlaws still to this day do. My fil sends a Vday card to his 2 daughters and my mil send a Vday card to her 2 sons.

So I give a card to my son and I pick up 2 cards for my hubby to give to our 2 daughters (he'd do this himself but he works night shifts).
