2. Currently I am obsessed with the color yellow, and my favorite pattern is polka dots.
3. There are a few ways to instantly make me smile- play "Single Ladies" by Beyonce, feed me some yummy food, and give my shoulders a nice, firm rub.
4. After 30 years, I still wait until the last minute to do most things, but I am working on breaking that habit every day.
5.I have a crush on someone, and it makes me giggle. A lot.It tends to be random. It used to be at night after work, but now it just seems to be whenever. Usually a gloomy day helps because then I don't crave being outside. My scrap space is a mess and usually I scrap wherever I go. But I haven't been traveling, so my dining room table is my space right now, so I have to eat at my desk in the office. I know, it makes no sense, but somehow it all gets done.
I was very close to my grandfather and I remember just doing simple stuff with him, like riding the bus to the mall so I could browse the stores with him. He would always buy me candy and generally anything I asked for. But all I asked for was Hello Kitty stuff and candy. So I ended up with lots of cavities. And going to the dentist wasn't the fondest of memories, but afterwards I would get to go into the treasure chest to pick out a prize. I always hoped she had candy in there, but she never did. I started scrapbooking 2 years ago after taking a class from Emily Falconbridge at a local scrapbooking store, which is now unfortunately closed. Emily and I became friends and I showed her sewing techniques and she taught me cool scrapbooking stuff. I have been addicted ever since.
Since I am around a lot of sewing stuff, it's fun for me to do it on paper as opposed to fabric. But really I am just in love with all the scrapbooking goodies of all kinds. I dig rub-ons. "I'd Rather Be With You" by Joshua Radin. I haven't seen it yet, but I am in love with the trailer to Paper Heart, I think I will like the movie when it comes out in August. I don't watch TV much but I still love Jon & Kate Plus 8. I enjoy bike riding, going to the beach with Buster and Bamboo, hanging out with friends, dining out, taking dance classes at the gym, traveling, reading, and enjoying life.
Amy inspires me to no end. I absolutely love her style. She adds such bright tid-bits to each of her creations. I love the tiny details. If you look closely at her work you will always find stitching or sewing. Thanks Amy!! We adore you!!
