Love, love, love the tags!!! So cute :)

Wow! Who can believe June is here? Summer days are up ahead, I'm not a fan of the heat. Well, California heat that is-108 degrees...here they come! ugh.

Despite the heat, we always have such a fun summer. I can't wait for all those planned activities, road trips, and swimming! Summer is filled with swim days, camping, farmers market Fridays, vacations, road trips to the beach or nearby lake, the circus, BBQ's, birthdays (mine, Albert & Ethan). family, cold drinks and fun!

I'm starting a new summer project. A tutorial of sorts. I plan on creating a project every week and posting it every Friday for 12 weeks-The 12 weeks of Summer.
If you would like to join me, feel free to do so, I created a 12 weeks of Summer Journaling Set, for all those projects. I plan on adding some printable sets to Blueberry Freckles too. This SUMMER set contains 3 NEW sets of summer tags + 3 old summer sets to make one HUGE set. 6 Sets (60+ tags) for $15. That my friends is the perfect Summer deal!! :) The set is available in our shop.
I haven't decided if I should offer it as an online class. We will see if there is an interest. Please share your thoughts.

To kick things off.... (poor blog readers, you guys have been neglected heheh). A GIVEAWAY-One lucky winner will receive a 12 weeks of Summer Journaling Set. Just leave a comment about your favorite summer tradition and I will choose a winner tomorrow night @ 9 p.m. (Note: If you are announced the winner PLEASE email me your address).

I will be back shortly with our June guest designers (one on the 5th and the other on the 15th). They are both SO awesome too. Seriously!

xoxo

Veronica

My favorite summer tradition - watermelon! We almost always have some in our fridge for snacking or to have with dinner. It's also a staple for picnics, taking to the pool, whatever... Here's to the juicy pink stuff. I feel a layout coming on!

Our fave summer tradition... icecream! After every Sunday dinner, we head out to a nearby outdoor Icecream store, order our cones and walk around the lil town :)

Our big summer tradition is pool time! We go to our neighborhood pool, and my kids love it. We pile up our collection of water toys, towels, a few drinks and snacks, and of course plenty of sunscreen and head out, staying for hours at a time. To us, summertime means the POOL.
Thanks for the chance to win - these tags look awesome!

Our summer tradition is go up in the mountains to my in-laws cabin to get away from the central California valley heat. There's no TV just our family having fun, playing games, eating fun foods, reading, sleepig, watching the deer in the meadow!!

My husband and I moved to Tucson for college. We are now back in Phoenix, but we have begun a tradition of going to Tucson every summer to visit our old hangouts!

Oh, the YUMMINESS of those tags...!! *drool*

My fave tradition is one that just happened. Me + husband + car + Ă–land (one of the most beautiful places in Sweden, if not in the world) = picnics, photo ops and loooots of fun.

We've been doing that for a bunch of years now and it's the one thing I just won't miss out on. It means the world to me to have that day of fun and our very own private bubble of fun and love. :)

What a gorgeous set...and the old summer ones are obviously timeless tags if you can advertise them again!
My fave summer tradition? Getting the whole family together to tidy up the garden, then making a 'grassman' (Green snowman!) with the cuttings! If you start early enough in the morning the grass is still dewy enough! then the garden is sorted to play in all weekend!
Note to self: must scrap this years grassmen!

What a beautiful, colorful set of tags. My favorite summer tradition: dinner (or just sitting) on the patio. Here in the northeast we don't get many months of patio weather so I enjoy every minute of it.

My favorite summer tradition is tried and true - it's packing up the kids, the cooler and sand toys and meeting their cousins at the beach. :)

Your tags are adorable, btw.

every summer we try and take the kids to a new place to learn and enjoy a different part of a state
this year we will be going to North Carolina because my 19 yr. old son is there doing an intern job, so we are taking my 14 yr. old daughter to go visit and travel around since we have not been there before
wish me luck it's gonna be a long drive.
have a wonderful week.

My favorite summer tradition is the 4th of July! We got to a nearby state park and spend the whole weekend out on the lake in the boat or swimming. My mom and dad take their camper, every meal is made out on the grill, and we have an awesome time! :)

Gorgeous tags! My favourite summer tradition is crabbing - we are lucky enough to live close to a river and where it joins the sea is the perfect place to catch crabs. We just count them and put them back though - couldn't take them home to eat them, no way!

Love the tags! My fav summer tradition is flip flops. Every June 1 (we live in WY so it's not warm enough until then) out they come, along with the toenail polish! And they don't go away until Halloween (our first big snow of the season, every year without fail). My hubby and kids wear them, too, although they don't have quite the commitment that I do - every day rain or shine. Thanks for the giveaway!

I live in Scotland. Our traditions have include snow in June the last few years. Oh, except the year I was heavily pregnant. No, that year we broke the heat record for the UK. Welcome to my world....!!!

Mrs. McGrew said...

We start our summer on the last day of school with the song School's Out For Summer" and make sure that we have lots of campfires. We also spend a lot of time at the pool, especially when dad is overseas. It helps take your mind off his absence and speeds his return home.
