Weekend Layout

Hello!
How are you? I've been busy with orders and family stuff. My baby starts preschool in 2 weeks, I start class next week and we are still on the look out for a house. *sigh* Busy, busy....
Can't wait for the weather to cool down and things to settle a bit.

I have a quick layout to share with a quick technique.
I find it VERY important to document the small things in life, I want to remember all the everyday blessings. Every Saturday (I know, I know, I'm spoiled) Albert makes whole wheat pancakes for us. He makes blueberry, chocolate chip or banana. Our favorite kind is banana. He sneaks in flax seeds too, so they are super healthy. They don't taste healthy at all. ;) It's such a treat! I love not having to cook breakfast ;) He makes the best cup of coffee too. mmm.
So, I made a layout about our Saturday Breakfast. Sounds cheesy, but I don't want to forget these sweet gestures.

Tags used: Grandma's kitchen, Farmer's Market and Christmas Double Scalloped.

Technique: A simple way to add texture to your page: Use a lace paper (I used KI Memories apple paper). Use an embossing ink pad and dab over the lace, remove lace, sprinkle powder and heat.
Well, I have tons of work...must get to it.
xoxo, Veronica
