Ethan's Birthday Party

Ethan's party was a blast & I am so glad it's over. lol There was a TON of planning for this party! We had 40 wonderful guest. Imagine that!
It all started with our killer invitations:

Our living room looked like a big mass of green and purple. I made some green and purple pompoms and dangled them above the tables:
The games were quick and easy. I only had time for 2. A hot potato game, using Mr potato & a pin the arm on Buzz game, if you've seen the movie, you know that Buzz breaks his arm off. :)

I had SO much food...I meant to label each item with catchy movie quotes, but I ran out of time.
I made sure to stick with the theme, we had Pizza Planet PIZZA! ;)
I made napkin rings too. Here is Buzz resting on the stack.
The favors were SUPER simple. I made Thank you tags for each one of them: I bought Toy Story buckets and filled them with Toy Story themed items- Buzz bubbles, Green Alien homemade play dough, army men, stickers and candy! I made labels for the bubbles and play dough. Albert made the pinata, and although it was a bit creepy looking, haha every kid got a chance to beat him! Gotta love Mexican traditions. :)The cupcake tower was beautiful and the cupcakes were DELISH! We got so many compliments on them. My sister is the BEST baker ever!
I made cupcake toppers with the cute green aliens:
Here is our boy making his wish:

If his wish was to receive every Toy Story toy imaginable, it came true!!
He was ONE happy boy!

So thankful it's over. :) Sorry this post was PHOTO heavy! Just thought I would update, like I said I would.

xoxo, Vero

When I have kids, I'm thinking you plan their parties. Yes? Ok, it's settled. Hey, CA isn't THAT far from Chicago, right? ;)

Have a great week.

Looks like a great party! Those parties at home are the best!!!!! I have done both the parties at laser tag, gyms, etc but the "old fashioned at home" parties are the ones my kids seem to talk about. Great job with the decorations!
