Making Spirits Bright! - Day One (Mini Album)

Happy Holidays!

I am so excited to share my first project for this holiday season: A Christmas Traditions Mini Album.I have 25 favorite traditions for December. I'm sure there are more, but 25 is a good number. :)
I showed you the cover a while back, but here it is again:
Here is the inside, I used a Christmas Vintage Library Envelopes from our shop.
I'll only show you the fun pages. lol Here is a page where I hand cut mittens from the
Jillibean Soup Christmas paper collection. I used my sewing machine to stitch them across.
Here I used some glimmer mist on a kraft envelope. I stuck some stickers on and peeled them off after I misted.

This is one of my favorite pages, I used a Vintage Christmas Card from this set.
It's a little flip book with pockets. I sewed pockets for some notes and pictures! Then I added some stickers and tied it all with some peppermint twine!
The next page is where I will place our annual Christmas music CD. Albert and I pick some of our favorite Christmas songs and download them on a CD. It's nice to see how our style in music changes from year to year.I did a lot of sewing in this book, and it was very easy to get carried away with pockets. lol

This little kraft envelop is one of those Maya Road envelopes. I added a Christmas Stamp tag and a glittered sticker. I plan on placing Ethan's Santa letter in here.

On this next page, I sewed some ornaments on a kraft paper. I used a small circle punch and various Christmas papers.

The last ornament has a brad holding two circles together. That is where my number is at. ;)
Pretty sneaky huh!?
This page is a Hambly Heavy overlay and Ki Memories lace paper.
This was a simple "filler page" I stitched on the paper and added the word "JOY".
I also added some fabric in this album! It was SO MUCH fun! I used some canvas and fabric paper. All the numbers used in this mini are from our Vintage Red Advent Numbers set. These numbers have been SO POPULAR, ever since we made the red and green set a few years ago. WOW, never knew changing the color would be that much more awesome!
Here is a page I stitched up using the Jillibean papers again. :)
The last page, is the one we will use for our gingerbread house pictures! Yipee. My favorite tradition! Well, that's it so far. I have 25 pages ready to be filled. Can't wait for December! Hurry up Christmas! ;)
Up next is an advent calendar. Be back tomorrow!
xoxo, Veronica

Thanks so much ladies! Lucy- you can do it! If you try to keep up with a daily album, it might get too oevrwhelming. This is why I am focusing on traditions only. Daily is just too much for me and my crazy schedule. :)
