My doctor was concerned with the baby's development (because I have gestational diabetes) and so she wanted to "make sure" all was okay. This of course sent me on a stress streak. Thank God all is good. Her heartbeat is strong and her organs are all developed as they should be. YES, that's right....IT'S A GIRL!!!!!!
They think she is 2 weeks smaller. I'm okay with that! I was told that a VBAC is our goal. Whoot! The specialist did 2 types of ultra sounds (2 & 3D) I'm hoping this girl stays a GIRL. ;) It would be our luck to send out Christmas cards with the pic above (daddy put a bow on her) and then...BAMB it's a boy. lol
The tech and the Dr seemed very confident, I of course can never make out the blobs on the screen. I take their word that there was "nothing in between, but 3 lines" EEEEKKKK!!
Bring on the pink!
She is the first granddaughter on Albert's side (8 boys), and after 19 years, the third granddaughter on my side (8 grand kids too). My family is over the moon and to be VERY honest, I was hoping it was a girl, but had a feeling it just might be another boy. At this point, it doesn't matter. She was a total surprise to begin with...I'm just glad she's a healthy surprise.
AHHHH! A Girl!!!
