Year in Review Mini Album

Hello friends! Happy first Monday of the year! I'm hoping this year I stick to my business & personal goals. ONE. blog at least 3X a week- we will see how that goes. :) I blame facebook. Facebook killed blogs. I feel like this blog is dead. I must try to revive it! I'm hoping I can create a little more too, maybe that will help the blog. I know with 3 kids it might be nearly impossible. This book here took me one whole week. I had to work on it at night and while Albert was home. I didn't want to give up on this project, since last year we had so many changes. I really wanted to capture them with pictures and words. I made the cover using papers from my rack. I tried to use only brown, teal and greens. Tags used- Calendar Cards, & Vintage Snapshots of. We started off our year with a FIXER home. It was horrible to say the very least. Albert worked so hard to make this a home. It finally feels cozy. In Feb, I actually looked pregnant, instead of just chubby! haha I captured this photo on the day my sisters threw me a baby shower. LOVE! Tags used: Vintage Glyphs & Monthly tabs
Oh, March. It's a miracle I could walk. heheh I was HUGE!
In April, the big boy makes his appearance :)
Easter 2010.
In May we spent many days lounging. We...okay, I was trying to adjust to TWO boys. Tag used: Vintage Snapshots Of
We took the boys to the beach, it was a fun filled day.
Here I stitched some KI Memories lace paper for the waves.
His 5th birthday.
Summer days are spent full of birthday parties and swimming at my sisters.
Ethan started school in August. This was the first day. He was so nervous, poor little guy. I of course cried. I can't believe he is in school! AND he keeps asking about college. EASY there turbo...sheesh mama doesn't want to think of that! Tags used- Capture the Moments & 5 W's
Ethan started soccer in September. Towards the end of the season he wanted NOTHING to do with the sport. I didn't let him quit. Now he keeps asking which sport is next...hmmm?

Tag- Vintage Glyphs
October is my favorite month! Love all the orange and browns. My favorite color combo!
Tehehe I love this picture. The boys were super heros for Halloween. So glad I captured Ethan's SUPER hero pose! I sewed the Thickers onto this page---um that was difficult!
I used a Maya Road envelope for November's picture. Added some mini stickers and a Thicker. Love just how much Ethan loves his little brother.
On this last page, I cut strips of pattern paper glued them added the pic and a rub-on. I was very tired of the album at this point. HA! Well, sorry for the long post. Hope you enjoyed and thanks for stopping by! Feel free to say hello. I'm starting to feel like I'm talking to myself.

Fabulous! I love what you did with your pictures. So much more fun than a plain photo album. :)
And,.... I know how you feel about being alone on the blog. But we are out here, reading away on our little Google Readers. :)

Very cute album! I have to admit I'm often a "stalker" because I read so many blogs! But, rest assured, I look every time you post! :-)

Veronica, let me start by saying that I found your blog today for the first time. Not even sure how I found it ---you know how you are on one and end up on another. Well, I LOVE it!!! I am so in love with your handmade tags that I ordered a bunch of Christmas ones right away. I love all things vintage and what you and your husband have designed is right up my alley. I was just thinking the other day that I would really like to find some "different" scrapbook stuff. Not what can be found in local stores. I have been hoping to get back to my scrapbooking now that the holidays are over and you have truly helped to get my creative juices flowing. Thanks so much and please keep creating!!!

Thanks for the inspiration!
