Loving These Moments

I couldn't wait to create a layout using the new Love Note tags from the shop.  They are so amazing, and happened to work perfectly for this layout I created about Davis' new game he likes to play.

And some closeups.

The Love Note tags coordinated perfectly with the December kit from Studio Calico. Unfortunately, this layout had a bit of a demise after I took the photos.  It may or may not have involved some coffee spilling...

When I tried to wipe off the coffee...well, not good.  So I had to rip it apart, and redo it.  I didn't want to lose the strip I had sewed down the side of my layout, so after some very careful maneuvering, I came up with this.

I might even like it better?  Not sure though because I did really like the patterned paper as my background.  What do you think?

At least it wasn't a complete redo, and my precious Chic Tags were saved.

Thanks for visiting the blog today and happy accident-free scrapping!

I really like the first one - the color goes so well with baby photos.

Amy I like the second one more! But I have a crush on plain background lately, so you know... :):):)

Amy, I love how you recovered it. They both look fab. Who would have thought changing it up like that could make them look so different?? Great post!

Awesome recovery job Amy! I actually really like the second one better. The first is great, don't get me wrong, but the second one just seems to sing more ... somehow! Thanks for sharing/confessing!

I like the 2nd one, but I'm a huge fan of Kraft backgrounds!
