Challenge Sundays!

Hello and welcome to this week's challenge!
I'm going to challenge you to the ever popular trend of misting!
If you are like me, and YOU think this trend has been abused to the maximum. lol Please know that misting doesn't have to cover your entire paper and leave you with a warped mess! It's true! If you love the mess, then this challenge is not much of a challenge for you but please SHARE with us your masterpiece.

Misting has always been a challenge for me. At first, I was very intimidated by these little bottles of color. It took me forever to buy one, and then they sat patiently on my desk for weeks. HA! True story.
I have tried every brand out there. I'm not a mist hoarder by all means, I own 7 bottles total. It took me a while to find my favorite, I love Color Shine  by Heidi Swapp. I love the bold colors and they really do shine!
So, moving on to our projects. I usually mist my tags with a light coat if I need some shine or extra color. I will occasionally splatter drops for an extra touch of color like this:
Stephanie splattered her mist in a circle. It looks fantastic! It's the perfect amount:
Lory, Kasia and Jennie also used the "drops" effect:
Kasia:
 Jennie:
 Malika used the masking effect:

I hope you are inspired to use mists if you haven't done so already!

***Please note*** We encourage everyone to play along. Winners are chosen COMPLETELY at random. We believe no one should ever be judged for their memory keeping!
If you decide to, please post your projects here. The winner will win 3 bottles of Heidi Swapp Color Shine!!
Last week's  BUTTON challenge winner is:

Great challenge - I LOVE mists!

I tried to use them differently on this layout, using a paintbrush to paint behind elements to make them pop out more.

LOVE this inspiration and challenge, so I made time to play! :)
I created a fun tone-on-tone stripe effect with mist, and added some opaque lines and splatters with more mist.
Thanks for the cool challenge:

Oh, I like this challenge :) I have some mists in my drawer but only use them for splashes not as mists per se. This was a good idea to use them how they should be used. Heres's my work for the challenge: http://antilight-craft.blogspot.com/2013/05/every-little-thin-she-does-is-magic.html

Thanks for this challenge! I have the same experience when it comes to misting, I also found it intimidating in the beginning ;) But then I just told myself to use them and thought "so what? If I mess up I will just turn the page around and start again" ;)
So here is one of my layouts where I also used the splatter technique: http://www.studiocalico.com/galleries/89007-relax

hopelessly intimidated by mists so i limit my effort to a smaller canvas - literally - applying two colours to embellish the LYB canvas birds on my page.
