So Long Winter Sky

Of all the winter photos I had pre-printed awhile back this is one of the few I have left to scrap.  I thought that since summer has finally arrived in Manitoba, Canada that I better get moving on these to make room for fun, cheery, colourful summer photos.

We saw this beautiful sky one morning on our drive to school.  The photo really does not do it justice, but I'm sure many of you have had a similar experience where the sky looks like it's about to catch fire.
In order to draw the eye straight to the subject of my layout, I used a Maggie Holmes Designs fabric frame, and embellished it was a couple of fabulous Chic Tags.  Have you seen the new Birthday Cake Collection? It's great for more than just birthday pages.  Here I've typed my journaling up one of the Artisans Tags.

This arrow is also from the Birthday Cake Collection, the Snip'em Tags to be exact, same with the "happy day" triangle that's sewn onto the top of the fabric frame.  So many great tags on one 5.5x8" sheet.

I just love these Number Tags from the Road Trip Collection.  I especially love to tuck them behind the photo and pop dot the little arrow out of it.

Do you have a favorite set of tags from the shop?  We'd love to see your work using them.  Be sure to link up your projects on our Facebook Page, you just may find your work showcased right here on the blog.

There, no more winter photos from me, for the next six months.  I promise!

Don't forget you still have a few days to link up to our Sunday Challenge - USE ARROWS.  The winner will receive a $25 gift certificate to the shop.  Who wouldn't want a little Chic Tags shopping spree?!

Happy scrapping friends,
