Hi everyone! Happy Saturday! It's Stephanie here and I'm sharing my week 21 of Project Life.
I love this project so much! I love capturing the special and ordinary moments of our everyday. I love looking back through this album and the albums from the previous two years. It's so neat to "remember" all those little precious moments that are usually forgotten as time passes.
This week, I incorporated lots of the amazing Chic Tag products, as well as some of the awesome freebies that are offered each Friday for Freebie Friday.
Here is a look at both the left and right side of my spread together...
All of my photos this week were taken with my iPhone. We were super busy with the end of preschool, so we were out and about a lot. So thankful for the convenience of smart phones!!
And here is a closer look at each side...
With Project Life, I try to capture our everyday.....game night, playing with bubbles, hugs from teachers, cupcakes, hugs, fingers and toes, toys, parachutes with friends.....
I love adding the little everyday life tags to help document our memories. And my typewriter and sewing machine (as you will see) are my very best friends!!
I also love to capture little sayings and moments from my kids. I used some small alphas to document one of my son's favorite sayings right now.....everything is "just a wittle bit more". Adding typed journaling and alpha stickers directly to my photos helps keep the bulkiness of my album down, and adds fun little elements to my pages, I think.
Here are a few detail shots of the some fun ways to utilize the Chic Tag journaling cards....
I wanted to add typed journaling and the "daily snapshots" journaling card to this photo of my two kiddos hugging. Since I had already printed off my photo, I decided to trim off part of the journaling card and adhere it to the side of the photo with my sewing machine. It adds a fun little dimension and interest without taking over the picture.
The card "our epic summer adventure" is a Chic Tags NSD freebie. It's actually a 4x6 card, but I decided to trim off the words and add it above my smaller photo to add a little more interest to this pocket. I typed my journaling down the left side of my picture leaving room to add the "hello there" tag. I love adding journaling to the white space of my photos!!
And that's my week 21! How are your weeks coming?
Remember...no matter what week you are on, you are documenting your families memories and that's what important!! Just get them down on paper....it doesn't matter if they are in order or not! No one will care, or even know if you miss a few days or even a few weeks!!
Hope you have a great weekend!!
