Stephanie's Project Life: Week 26

Hi everyone!!  Happy Saturday to you!!  I hope you are enjoying your weekend!!

It's Stephanie here today to share my week 26 of Project Life with you.  I just love this style of memory keeping so much.  I love how it reminds me to take pictures of the "everyday", not just those "look at the camera" moments.

Here is a look at my week 26....

We are in the swing of summer here and our days are spent running from the pool to museums to the movies and so forth.  Super busy (and kind of exhausting!!).  :)  That's basically what this week was all about.  The NC science museum, library, pool.....

Just like in the other weeks I've shared here at Chic Tags, I love utilizing the little bits and pieces and journaling cards in different ways.  I love to sew the tags onto cards (as you can see in the top left and bottom left photos) and I also love to use parts of the journaling cards (as you can see in the bottom right).

More glimpses of our week....

And here is a detail shot of a few of the awesome Chic Tag goodies.  I really wanted to use the "coffee time" tag from the Road Trip collection, but I couldn't make it work with my photo size.  So....I just trimmed it out and sewed the title and coffee cup together!  I looooove how it looks!!

And I thought I would share you with a few ways to "customized" your own journaling or filler cards for Project Life.

Here are three examples from this week's spread where I sewed on bits and pieces of different collections or printables to make my own cards.  For the top card, I trimmed off part of one of the Freebie Friday printable journaling cards and stitched it to the side of a piece of 4x6 white card stock.  I added my typed journaling, some twine and a sticker title to finish the card.

For the bottom left card.....I actually used a piece of packaging from the Chic Tag "Autumn Days" collection that I trimmed to 3x4.  I typed my journaling, added my photo and then stitched on the "hey there" cut file for a little extra dimension and texture.

The bottom right card is pretty simple, as you can tell.  I sewed on the "love" tag from the Everyday Life II Snip 'ems, typed out our weekly events and then added the "happiness is" stamp at the bottom.

White card stock is my best friend!  I love a blank slate and I love to create my own little cards!!

Thanks so much for spending some time with me today!!  I hope you will try creating your own filler and journaling cards using the awesome Chic Tags products!!

Happy Saturday!
