We Are Happy Together! layered scrapbooking layout

Happy Thursday everyone! It's Kasia here and I would like to share a summery layout with you today which I created using one of my most beloved techniques- layering! I love adding extra pieces of paper and embellishments to my pages and yes, Chic Tags products are perfect to add some fun and cute details too!

On this page I wanted to achieve fun, mixed layers but also keep some clear and white space, so I allowed myself to place the layers only on one column of the layout. It's fun to mix different textures among your layers, it makes them more artsy and original so on this page you will see some wood, cork, vellum, stitching, old book pages etc...

When I add my tags I like to browse through different sets and I don't worry much if the line theme doesn't match with my layout's theme. You know, these little tags are really flexible and you should be creative while playing with them! The layout is about my relationship but the tag from Birthday Cake Numbers worked here well!

I also like using tags to create a mat under my photograph, in here you can see the piece from Everyday Life II Cards working this way. Than I add little tags and labels here and there. You can check my previous Chic Tags layering tutorial to see how I do it (and how I manage to save some of my precious tags for another occassion!)

So, I hope you feel inspired to try some layering! Don't be afraid of adding extra elements to your pages, play with paper and share with us what you create! Have a lovely day!
