If you've seen my layouts in the past you already know that I love to use several tags on one layout. Layering is my go-to technique, and these great little tags are a super way to add a lot of visual interest and texture to my layouts.
I got to thinking lately, however, that perhaps there are some of you who have purchased our tags, but once you got them home, were not quite sure how to use them on a layout, especially if you are more of a clean and simple scrapper. Here is just one example of how easy Chic Tags are to incorporate, into your scrapping no matter what your personal style.
Here I've used only a handful of tags, five to be exact. I could have made do with just the top two alone, but felt like the bottom of the page needed a little something, and added a few there.
Tag 1: Everyday Life II Date Tag is a perfect journal spot.
Tag 2: Everyday Life II Icons a great little embellishment, where you might otherwise put a cardstock sticker, or die cut, or something of that nature.
Tag 3: Everyday Life II Month Tags perfect to help record the month the photo was taken right on the page.
Tag 4: Birthday Cake Banners gives me a little bit of layering for my Month Tag, and serves as a spot to record the actual date, since in this case I actually know it, lol.
Tag 5: Everyday Life Note Clip I thought this just looked like fun to cut apart the tag, and flip it upside down. Plus I really felt I needed a pop of yellow at the bottom of the layout for balance.
I hope now you see, how easy it is to jump in and get started with our Chic Tags products. If you've been hanging on to your tags for fear of not knowing how to make them work for your style, I hope today you've been inspired to pull them out and start incorporating them into your pages.
