Together Time

Hello friends!! I'm happy to be back today to share a quick tutorial on using the DMC floss we've all been hoarding and pairing it with Chic Tags cards. Here's a peek at my final card, hope you'll join me in learning my step by step process for creating this fun accent.

First choose your design, it could be a shape you already have and wish to trace it on the card. Or it can be an image that you draw, like I did below.

Then using a thick needle or a paper piercer tool, pierce holes along the design on the card. Once this is done you can erase the pencil marks.

You are now ready to stitch on your design. I used DMC floss which I have plenty left over from my cross-stitch days. I did a simple stitch but for some design a cross-stitch would also be lovely.

And your final product should look something like this. Hope you have enjoyed this tutorial. Make sure to leave a comment if you try this fun technique on a Chic Tags product, I would love to see what you do.

Thanks for stopping by and checking out my first tutorial for Chic Tags.
