Creating Banners with Chic Tags

Hello everyone! Jennifer here today to share a fun tutorial using Chic Tag Photo Toppers and Mini Icons. For my layout, I used the new and very fun School House collection!

I love how versatile this line is in that you can use it for just about any subject!  Many of the sentiments go along with everyday life!  So first to construct your banner, select a few of your favorites.

I then layered them across my page incorporating pennants I created with a punch and stamped images. I then finished by using my sewing machine along the top of the banner.

You can add small embellishments around your banner, such as enamel dots and wooden shapes. I also used the cute little hand-drawn star from the School House Clear Acrylic Stamp Set.

I used one of the awesome Free Cut Files for my title! I backed it with my absolute favorite print of the School House collection:  Lessons.  The ombre dot pattern is so fun to work with!

I usually like to use white cardstock for my cut files. One fun way to make them "pop" is to use a light amount of spray ink!

Thank you for stopping by today! Check out the Chic Tags shop for this great collection and much more! Also, don't forget about the Exclusive October Kit on sale right now!
There are lots of fun embellishments and tags perfect for your next layout or Project Life spread!
