Stephanie's Project Life: week 40 & an extra

Hi there and happy Saturday!!

It's Stephanie here with you today for Project Life Saturday!!  Grab your cup of coffee and settle in!  I've got a lot for you to look at today!!

I had so much fun putting together my Project Life spread using the brand new Chic Tag goodies.  I used a variety of old and new on my spread this week!!  The Happy Place tags and cards are so perfect for Project Life!!  I also threw in a few goodies and paper from the School House collection and some extras from the October kit just because they were so beautiful!!

At the end of this post I will share you with an insert I made using the amazing October kit!  It's still available in the shop right now!  Get yours before they are gone!!

Ok...on to my week 40.
Here is a look at my complete week and the left/right side individually....

Pretty ordinary week for us.  Nothing too crazy.  Messes, walks, hugs, snuggles, ice cream, crafting, haircut.  All of the reasons I love Project Life. Little moments captured and recorded!

My husband was out of town most of the week and he was sorely missed by us all.  We exchange a lot of texts while he is gone, so to document his absence this week I decided to print off some of our text messages and add them to my pages.  I created a vellum pocket by folding and sewing a piece of vellum.  I added some stamps from the Happy Place collection on top of the vellum and trimmed out an "Everyday Moments" tag from the Everyday Life II collection to decorate my pocket.

I also used another piece of vellum to type up a recap of our week.  I sewed it onto a piece of the Recess paper from the School House collection because I love it so much!!  :)

More typing and stamping directly onto photos.

And how perfect is this hashtag??  My "#real life" is definitely cleaning up after two messy kids!!

I included an insert in my PL album for this week.
My kids and I made a special trip to a local pumpkin farm and I wanted to document our day.  To make the insert stand out a little from the regular pages, I decided to use a baseball card page protector.  Each pocket is roughly 2.5x3.5 inches.

I wanted to use the October kit for this insert since the colors and cards are so perfectly "Fall"!!  I started by choosing cards that would work with my photos.  Then I trimmed them all down to 2.5x3.5.  I printed my photos, added my typed journaling and a few embellishments to finish the insert.

Let's take a look!!

I love how the October kit creates a consistency throughout this insert!!

The flair are amazing and I couldn't resist using them with my photos!!

If you stayed with me all the way to the end, then give yourself a great big high five!!  So glad you stopped by today!!  How is your Project Life album coming along?
Be sure to stop by the store to pick up the new CT goodies!!  They will get your caught up in no time!!

Have a great day!!
