Project Life with Stephanie: Using Rub-ons

Hi and happy Saturday!  I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving and made lots of holiday memories!!

Today, I am sharing week 45 of my Project Life album.  I can't believe there are only a few more weeks left in this year.  Finishing an album and starting a new one is always a favorite for me!!

My daughter and I traveled to New York City over this week to see the Rockettes, visit the American Girl store and have lunch at Rock Cafe at Rockefeller Center.  A lot of my photos are of our trip and not every day of the week is captured this week.  I'm totally ok with that.  Our trip was the highlight of our week and I just went with the photos I had.

Let's take a look…
Here is my complete week….and a look at the right and left side individually.

I used the Good Tidings Gold Foil alpha to create title card for this page.  Those alpha are just amazing!  They have the perfect amount of shimmer and are just so pretty.

I also created a flip up card in the top right hand corner of the right side page to add some extra journaling about our trip, as well as the number of hours our trip took.  6 is a record.  It's usually more like 8, so that was definitely worth documenting!!  You can't see it in the picture, but I used a journaling card from the Road Trip collection!!

I also got a little carried away and added tons of the awesome rub-ons directly onto my photos.  I love this effect and see myself using these all the time!!

On this picture, I added some of the Good Tidings Gold Star rub-ons.

I used a stamp from the October kit and a rub-on from the Happy Place collection on this photo and the next two photos.  I love how the rub-ons overlap parts of the photo and actually look like digital stamps!!  How cool is that???

(Side note….take your time with the rub-ons, trim out the ones you want and do one at a time.  As you can see, I got a little impatient and messed up that cute heart….oh well!!!)

And that's my week!!  Thanks so much for joining me today!  I hope that I have inspired you to use these fun Chic Tags products, especially the rub-ons, in a fun way!!
