Tuesday Tutorial: Chic Tags and mixed media

Happy Tuesday Chic Tag friends! Jennifer here with a little tutorial on how to incorporate mixed media into your pages.  I was a little out of my comfort zone at first but I promise you it is a lot of fun! And you can texture and depth to your page!

I placed my stencil in the center of my cardstock. It's helpful to use a little washi tape to keep your stencil in place!

I wanted to use just a small portion of the stencil. I applied modeling paste in diagonal downward strokes.  It is your preference on how thick or thin you apply the modeling paste.

Once dry, you can begin to create your page!

Here I added a cluster of embellishments from the Happy Place collection including icons and rub ons.

One of the cute rub-ons from the Happy Place collection!

For my title, I used one of the Chic Tags Summer Title Freebies Cutfiles found in the Chic Tags shop!

The Happy Place Hanging Tags are perfect to slide behind a photo or use for journaling!

After finishing my layout, I used a small amount of gelato to the modeling paste to give a pop of color.  You can use a foam dabber or your finger to apply!

Thanks for stopping by today!  Check out the Chic Tags shop for lots of goodies including the new March Kit!
