My Book of Lists

Hey everyone...Jamie here...
this past month was my birthday...yep. I was born on the first day of spring. What a great day to be brought into the world.
So for the month of March I decided to do a book of lists. A mini album of just lists sort of telling the what and why of me right now.

So with the help of the March Kit as well as the Polkadot Numbers I created a mini journal with plenty of room to write my lists based on some prompts I decided on.

I thought the MARCH 4x6 journal card was perfect as a cover. I sprinkled that with some teal mist, added a die cut butterfly that was cut from the School House Lessons Paper, and then layered the butterfly with a vellum for a real soft look. The 'true fact' is from the March Kit, and was a good addition to the title of this mini.

The inside is a mix of some of the 6x4 and 3x4 journal cards. The stamp from the kit was a great way to save the date, as if my age was not a give away already. And Happy Place rub ons were used for the divider tabs. Thought they were perfect for the theme.

The prompts were typed out and then trimmed like journal strips. Those were glued on the 3x4 cards as well as several grid cards I printed out for this journal.

The format for each page is laid out just like the above, the left side is pattern paper, and then clusters of stamps and embellishments are included. The right side was kept very simple, with plenty of room for me to answer my prompt.

This is going to be one of those journals I will look back on in a few years and say "really?". Ha! Well, maybe or maybe not. But I always think they make for great reflections to remember how I was thinking right now in years to come.

So how about you, have you ever created a book of lists? If not, I challenge you to do so. Enjoy.
