Chic Embellished Teacher's Gift

Tis' the season for Teacher's Gifts...
I like to tell people that May is just about as crazy as December...lots of gift giving in our parts. Lots of parties and end of club or organizations for the academic year here in the states. If I were a smart mom, I would start the gift planning in March....but I'm not a smart here I am today to share a quick embellishing idea for a teacher gift...

For this teacher's gift, I embellished and made pretty a kraft covered little note book. I just find these here and there and I always pick them up. Especially if they are on clearance, as I know I can alter them and make gifts for any occasion.

I covered the front with School House Arithemetic Pattern Paper being sure to distress the edges with sand paper.

Then I set to embellishing and having a little fun with all things Chic Tags...

The 'teacher' card is trimmed from the School House Science Lab paper and adhered to the front of the mini notebook.

I used Happy Place Rub Ons and School House Label Stickers and created little notched banners to embellish the book ring.

After tying on the ribbon I added a School House Mini Icon tag to top it off.

Inside a little page was covered with the Science Lab paper. I stapled a Mini Vintage School Flashcard to the page with a School House Rub-on. The pencil is also a rub-on and the stickers are from the School House Label Stickers. Tada!!! a fun little notebook waiting to be wrapped and given to that best of teacher in your life.
