I think a lot of us have a go to design at some point in our scrapping. It's that one thing that gets you out of a rut, you know it will always be something you like in the end, and more than likely most people know it's your work when they see the project online. For me that go to has to be enlarged photos. I love enlarged photos! Sometimes the amount of space on a page can be intimidating and makes me fumble(being honest here peeps) so working with an enlarged photo limits that space for me and makes the creating time come together pretty quick like.
To start creating this layout I grabbed this photo of Avery and Mav that I printed a couple weeks ago and haven't used yet, I was also in a hurry to whip something up quick for this last minute blog post so this photo worked great. It's not perfect but I love it and the story from that day.
To bring the rest of the layout together I grabbed my Chic Tags drawer and started digging through all my tags. There's a little bit of everything from Happy Place to Good Tidings. I love to just tuck bits and pieces of tags, labels, and tabs under the enlarged photo so that the focus stays on the photo but there is also lots of fun embellishing too.
So how long does my go to usually take to create? Less than 30 minutes.
Do you have a go to design? I'd love to see it! be sure to link it up in the comments section.
Thanks for joining me today! I hope I have inspired you or at least have you thinking about your Go To.
Have a great day!
