Color Crush | Gold

Hey everyone! Tracy here! I'm so excited to bring you my first post as a member of the Design Team! For those of you who don't already know me, let me tell you a little about myself. I'm 26 and I live in Vancouver, BC. My favourite things include my dog Sophie, coffee, Project Life-ing and gold.

Oh, how I love all things gold!

Which brings me to the theme of today's post! My Color Crush is most definitely gold! I use it in practically all of my Project Life spreads. It's a fun way to add a bit of sparkle (which I also happen to love). For this layout I started with the toothy grinned picture of Sophie. I took the gold from her collar and used bits of gold throughout almost all the pictures.

I love the wood veneers from the Let's Go collection. They were perfect for all these outdoor shots I had on the left side of the spread. To make them flow with the gold accents on the right side, I used gold ink and gold embossing powder to make them shine.

I added some gold foil stickers from the Cloud 9 collection to a few of the pictures. These stickers are one of my favourite things to use. They have cute little sayings and of course, they're in gold! For the bottom right card, I took a piece of the gold foil bow paper "Sunday Best", also from Cloud 9, and cut it down to be a 3x4 card. Then I took a circle punch and punched out the Us circle from one of the Cloud 9 gold foil cards, and taped it on top of the 3x4 card. I'm so happy with how this spread turned out!
