Friday's Sketch | Take Two

Hello everyone! Suz back with you here today to share a different take on the sketch I shared with you last Friday. If you missed last Friday's post, I created a sketch that could be translated into a card, a layout, and a home decor project. Here is a link to that post if you missed it: Suz's Friday Sketch - 1 Sketch - 3 Takes

And here is the sketch:

I mentioned that I first intended for this sketch to be translated to a card, but my creativity veered in a different direction, and the end result was a home holiday decor project. This week, I decided to take action, and to get a jumpstart on my holiday card making.

Here is how I translated my sketch:

As you can see, although I did change a few things from the sketch design, overall you can see that the card was inspired from the sketch. The centered star, the smaller cascading stars, the diagonal strip of paper and sentiment at lower right.

And a few close ups:
I used a craft knife to create the layers of stars and patterned papers and added foam adhesive to give the layered stars more dimension and depth. My go to stitching and the card was complete!

Chic Tags Item Used:
Good Tidings, "Frost" patterned paper (A & B Sides)

Have a fabulous Friday!
